It is clear the crew and Spanish owners maintain the vessel to a high standard, which is displayed in the crew ability to operate the vessel and the general condition of the vessel. Many thanks to both for their assistance during the trials.

In June/July TEC Svcs have added a further string to their bow by introduction of buyers of Jet A1 direct to sellers.  This a new area that we have been involved in and find it extremely exciting and although not quite the offshore side it is most certainly the product of our many years in the offshore industry.  We look forward to further potential customers coming along and allowing us to facilitate introductions.

In May 2021, we carried out the first Remote Annual DP Trials utilising remote ‘Live Streaming’.   This proved to be extremely successful and was aided by: 1. The professionalism of the Marine Crew and 2. The Surveyors experience and knowledge of the vessel being surveyed.   Both these points are imperative to expedite the success of the remote testing.

Despite a challenging 2020 for everyone we hope you are all doing well and wanted to share some details of the projects we’ve been working on over the past few months.

In June we were involved in DP trials of DP2 vessel in South West England. With a complete a review and re-write of DP Operations manual and FMEA Manual. Confirming the vessel meets DP2 operational redundancy requirements.

In September successful annual DP trials of a DP2 vessel in North America. Compiling trials documentation and full testing procedure, confirming the vessel aligns with DP2 redundancy capabilities.

In October we have a tender for 100 bed Flotel and DP2 work vessel for the Red Sea area.

…and hot on the heels of all that a DP incident investigation to DP2 vessel, with post investigation and redesign of redundancy group capabilities of fuel systems and electrical control systems (24VDC).

…and in addition to all of that we have an upcoming pre-purchase survey for a 1700 berth passenger ship coming up.
